Formerly an award-winning movie advertising copywriter, Brandenburg left the corporate world behind to venture out solo as a performer and creative writer midway into the new millennium.   Her first book of cartoons, Everyday Cat Excuses is currently featured on amazon.com and can be seen at http://www.EverydayCatExcuses.com. Ms. Brandenburg is currently at work on a solo performance piece, in collaboration with Gary Austin, (founder and original director of the Groundlings Theater) entitled Banquo’s Ghost, based on the life of her father, artist and physician Dr. John Brandenburg, who died of Alzheimer’s disease in 2005. As a stage actress, Ms. Brandenburg’s credits include a featured role in The Company of Angels Theater’s acclaimed production of Waiting For Lefty. Her character voices can be heard on the Star Trek CD-Rom Star Trek: Judgement Rites, with the original series cast.

Photo: Peggy starred with nationally touring comedian Lord Carrett in their smash "Reunion" show at Club Ten20 at the Bel Age Hotel in November '03. It was leopardskin/martini-swilling comedy at its finest!

Along with her work as a performer, Ms. Brandenburg has recently teamed with Peter Bergman, of the legendary Firesign Theater Comedy Group, to help create Radio-Club After School,  a nonprofit organization formed with the goal of bringing creative empowerment to children through improvisation, writing and radio theater. Radio Club was recently awarded a grant from the Los Angeles Dept. of Cultural Affairs, and from the El Cucuy Foundation.
