Consequently, the  anglosaxon entertainment and music market opened wide before her eyes. In 1970, she moved to New York, where she recorded new songs, produced and acted in musicals such as "French Feelings",  "French Dressing" which was  a Tribute to  Josephine Baker. In 1981, she finally moves to California  and as expected, she opened a Parisian cabaret under the name of “La Rose Tattoo” where she continued to perform, almost on a daily basis.  Ironically enough, the show was repackaged re-written as a musical and ultimately ended up as a big production on European stages. This woman would not stop creating, singing, acting and producing. Her concerns about children protection, safety and rights led her to establish in 1988,  an international non-profit foundation, the FDRC " Foundation for the Declaration of the Rights of Children", and Jocelyne began to devote herself to the organization. In fact, she donated all her royalties, earnings and proceeds of the sales of her recordings and shows to the foundation. Unfortunately, and as the old proverb goes: "Good people die first." She was diagnosed with a lung cancer.

A disease  she  bravely fought for many years. But the cancer could not refrain Jocelyne from making a comeback on stage, just to generate more fund for her charitable organization. She had one thing on her mind: Raising money for the children! Her voice did not lose its divine beauty, sparkling purity and mesmerizing mystic. To the very last minute of her life, her voice remained intact, crystal clear and  full of warmth, and that sad-joyful drama that colored her life. Jocelyne’s foundation is still active. Pierre Cardin, world famous fashion designer, philanthropist and Goodwill Ambassador of UNESCO, is the Patron-Honorary Chairman, with Pierre Salinger former Press Secretary of President John F. Kennedy as the International President. The website page of the foundation is: www.rightsofchildren.org/index.html.
