Streisand show sells out quickly

Streisand says she had to overcome stage fright to tour.

LONDON- Tickets for Barbra Streisand's first UK gig in 13 years sold out in just 20 minutes, despite costing between £100 and £500. Within minutes of selling out the tickets were being resold at up to £3,550 a pair on auction websites. A second date at the 02 arena - formerly the Millennium Dome - has now been added to her European tour. Streisand's publicist said her concerts were on a par with those of Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra. Streisand, 65, said she had finally conquered the stage fright which had kept her from performing for 27 years when she toured the US last year. "If I did not have stage fright I would have performed much more in my career," she added. "I just never liked it. My heart pounds, I get palpitations - very, very uncomfortable and hard to sing. Fear takes over me. I do not even like to get up at a birthday party of my own and talk."

Rapper Rhymes in driving arrest

Busta Rhymes has had several recent run-ins with the police.

US rap star Busta Rhymes has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving in New York. Police stopped Mr. Rhymes  because his car windows were too tinted. Sgt Mike Wysokowski said officers then smelled alcohol on the rapper's breath and he was taken into custody. Mr. Rhymes - real name Trevor Smith - is currently also facing two separate assault charges. A lawyer for Mr. Rhymes, Scott Leemon, declined to comment on the drink driving charge, saying the star would address the charge in court.

Assault trial. The rapper and actor is also due to appear in court next week on two separate charges of assaulting his driver and a fan who allegedly spat on his car last year. He was initially offered the chance to take probation and community service in relation to these charges, sparing him a prison sentence. But the offer was withdrawn after he was arrested in February when he was caught driving on a suspended license. The rapper's hits include Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See, Dangerous and Touch It.

DeVito's limoncello was unveiled at a drinks convention

Celebrity merchandise and memorabilia is big business - and getting bigger. As stars like Kate Moss cause a frenzy with their clothing lines, some singers and actors are turning their passions into more unusual products.

DANNY DEVITO'S PREMIUM LIMONCELLO LIQUEUR.

After starring in films like Get Shorty and Twins and producing Pulp Fiction and Erin Brockovich, Danny DeVito is one of Hollywood's most successful men. The Italian-American actor is now branching out into Italian lemon liqueur following a drunken appearance on US TV show The View late last year. "I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that was going to get me," he said at the time. Showing a true businessman's instinct for turning a PR disaster to his advantage, his own brand of his favorite tipple will go on sale in the US later this year, costing $23.99  for 750ml.
