Reading of Barb Jungr's musical - The Ballad of Norah's Ark  February 5th

As many of you know, Barb and her creative  collaborators have been crafting her musical theater play, The Ballad of  Norah's Ark for the past two years with aspirations for a Broadway  production.   On February 5th, there will be two Readings of the  musical in New York.  We invite you to the Reading, and invite you to  bring potential production partners and investment backers.

The Ballad of  Norah's Ark

Songs by:  Barb Jungr and Russell  Churney. Book by:  Barb Jungr and Andy Goldberg. With:    Sally Mayes, Glenn Seven Allen, Ginifer King, James Ludwig, Thom Sesma,  Mary Bond Davis, C.E. Smith, Lennie Watts, Kirsten Wyatt, Elise Hernandez,  Renee Albulario, Noah Starr, Kenneth-Michael Glass, and David  Beach. Monday:   February 5th, 2007, 3pm & 8pm. Roy  Arias Studios, 300W. 43rd Street, 5th Floor, New York City. RSVP to:   Norahs_Ark@yahoo.com

The Ballad of Norah's Ark is a contemporary fable of  love, faith and redemption.  Norah, a middle-aged housewife, lives with  her son and daughter-in-law in the time of an extreme drought.  One  night she is visited by three angels who tell her the Bible isn't the past,  but rather the future.  Furthermore, the Bible has typos: it should  have been Norah, not Noah, and she has seven days to build an ark!   The musical follows Norah's attempt to achieve her vision, charting  the challenges and sacrifices she and her family have to make to  realize her impossible dream.
